We are a family that happens to have a child born with an encephalocele. By the grace of God we are living life to the fullest as best we can.

Thankful Blessing!!
Pretty soon it will be thanksgiving. Are you ready to eat too much turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, desserts, and then fall asleep on the couch. Amongst all that, remeber to give thanks to all your many blessings. God is so good.

What a Slacker!
I have just forgotten my blog. I get so caught up in everyone else's blog that I forget about my own. So, I thought I would do a quick update.
Today is my 16th anniversary. I believe that is a pretty good accomplishment considering families that have children with special needs have an 82% chance of divorce. I am so proud to be married to my wonderful husband. We have overcome many uphill climbs in our marriage. I am very proud of our relationship with each other and our faith we share together as followers of Jesus Christ our Savior.
Michael and Daniel are doing great. We just finished a season of soccer and will start basketball next. Michael's soccer team got 3rd place out of 9 teams this weekend in a tournament. Daniel had his 1 year anniversary of his vesecostomy and is doing well medically. No flu at our household thus far, thank you Lord! We hope to keep it that way.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Remember to give thanks to our soldiers and keep them in your prayers.
